Cherrywood Idea Session on I-35

Do you regularly leave your home to shop, work or play? If you leave the Cherrywood neighborhood you will be affected by TxDOT’s plans for IH35. Our concrete neighbor to the west is the subject of some potential major redesign planning. You have a voice in its future. Join your neighbors in an interactive ideas session this Monday, July 14th at Asbury Servant Church (1605 E. 38 1/2 Street) at 7:00pm, featuring invited guests Rob Spillar (City of Austin Transportation Dept.), Stacey Benningfield (TxDOT) and Steve Miller (HNTB).

This special session will feature maps of Mobility35 proposals–and we’re going to draw all over them. TxDOT is soliciting neighborhood input on several highway ramp and frontage road schemes, all of which will have direct impact on the residents of Cherrywood. Come be part of the discussion of our highway’s future!
