CNA General Meeting, November 19, 2014

Cherrywood Neighborhood Association will hold its fall general meeting on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. The quarterly meeting will be held at Asbury Servant Church Fellowship Hall, 1605 38 1/2 St. from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The meeting was be chaired by Katie Halloran and the agenda was the following:

6:30 p.m.     Welcome & Introductions

  • Steering Committee (SC) members and officers
  • Brian Robinson, APD Region 3 District Representative,

6:40 p.m.     Announcements (Chair, Steering Committee and Members)

  • New officer elections at February General Meeting (2 mins)
  • Join the SC and Land Use and Transportation Committee (Emily Schwartz 3 mins)

6:50 p.m.     Presentation by TxDOT of plans for Cherrywood portion of IH35, Manor Road to Wilshire Blvd, concentrating on 32nd to 38th½ and the implications of the proposed exit ramp

7:05 p.m.     Question/Answer; Dialogue between Cherrywooders and TxDOT

7:35 p.m.     Q&A Concludes/SHORT BREAK

7:40 p.m.     Discussion among Cherrywooders and neighbors, and a straw-vote concerning the proposed ramp

8:00 p.m.      Adjourn (or vote to extend the meeting 15 minutes)
