French Place neighbors celebrate National Night Out

Written by Stacey Abel

On Tuesday night, October 1st, folks in the French Place neighborhood came on foot, bicycle and stroller to gather for the annual Neighbor Night Out Potluck. This event is a great way to connect with old neighbors and meet new ones who have moved into our corner of Austin in the past year.  Everyone enjoyed culinary delights and community chat until way after the sun went down.

The diversity and lively discussions reminded us of why our precinct has been hailed as one of the most active and diverse in the entire State of Texas.  One thing about which everyone could agree:  We live in a great neighborhood!
