Grackle Green Update

Thanks to community support, the proposed microplayground near Lafayette and Dean Keeton was unanimously approved by the CNA at the general meeting in August. While the space is small, proposed features included new native trees, a small playscape, an herb and butterfly garden, ADA access, and a pool-code fence. As discussed at neighborhood meetings, the City will be funding the vast majority of the park’s construction with the commitment of neighbors to maintain our new green space after construction.

The final application for the Grackle Green was submitted to the City in August, and we are still waiting to hear back from Public Works. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting addition! Please email for more information.
