in.gredients Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Neighborhood grocer in.gredients celebrated their one year anniversary on Sunday, August 4 with a big bash that drew a few hundred neighbors, customers, and friends.

It was a blazing hot afternoon but the grounds filled quickly and didn’t thin out until late at night. There was live music by The Bluebird Specials and several other bands, the Fine Southern Gentlemen brought their screen-printing bicycle, the women from Windmill Bicycles did some face painting on the little ones, the East Side Compost Pedallers ran a very goofy photo booth, and there were all kinds of special food and drink. A raffle for prizes from in.gredients, Little Yoga House, Windmill, and others raised over $400 for TreeFolks, a nonprofit that grows Central Texas urban forests through tree planting, education and community partnerships.

It was a wonderful way to spend a summer evening, and a welcome chance to enjoy everything that the neighborhood grocer and gathering spot has brought to the neighborhood in the last year. Happy anniversary in.gredients, we look forward to celebrating many more!
