June 5 Public Meeting with Austin Water Utility re Work in the Neighborhood

The Cherrywood Neighborhood Association received the following announcement from Austin Water Utility:

Public Meeting

Austin Water will soon begin a project to replace aging water and wastewater lines in your area. Additionally, the Watershed Protection Department will be undertaking a stream bank restoration project to remove existing wastewater lines which are currently aerial and crossing Boggy creek.  The work will be completed with minimized impact to the greenbelt.  We will be is hosting a public information meeting to introduce the City’s project management team and the construction team from Santa Clara Construction. The meeting will offer project details on what area residents can expect during construction.

The water/wastewater line construction will affect the following streets: 40th St.  Willowbrook Dr., Sycamore Dr., 30 ½ St., Vineland Dr. and Giles St.
