Neighbors Celebrate National Night Out at Cherrywood Green

On Tuesday, October 7, 41 neighbors gathered at Cherrywood Green to celebrate National Night Out with a happy hour potluck. It was warmer and muggier than you would hope, but Texans have to be prepared for anything in October. In addition to mosquitoes there was an abundance of fireflies, and it was pretty magical to see all the little ones chasing them around the park. There was cold beer, lemonade, brisket, mac n’ cheese, and more to share. The adults enjoyed some good conversation, and the babies enjoyed lots of snuggling by neighbors happy to meet the newest Cherrywooders.
