Neighbors Gather for Fall Cookie Social

Neighbors gathered on a beautiful afternoon at the Cherrywood Green this weekend for the 2nd Cherrywood Cookie Social. Fall officially began on Sunday, September 22nd, but the temperature dropped just in time for the social on Saturday. About 20 neighbors, aged two months old and up, came out to enjoy strawberry muffins, ginger and hazelnut cookies, cold milk, and lemonade.

The creek was full after the previous day’s rain, and the kids all went down the new steps to explore it. We had a great time relaxing and chatting at the shaded picnic tables, and I think the cookie social tradition is here to stay.
