November Meeting Has Elections and a Brass Band

Written by Meaghan Bludau

GM-2015-08-img-2605The General Meeting of the Cherrywood Neighborhood Association is next Wednesday, November 18th at 6:30 p.m. at Asbury/Servant Church.  If important neighborhood issues aren’t enough to get you out on a weekday night, there will also be pizza and music by the Yes Ma’am Brass Band!

As part of the fun, we will be asking for your vote on two important items at the meeting:

  • the proposed budget for Cherrywood Neighborhood Association for the upcoming calendar year (pdf here)
  • the NCINC2 resolution opposing TXDOT’s plan to add lanes to the upper deck (pdf here and background here)

We will be holding elections for two-year terms on the Cherrywood Neighborhood Association Steering Committee.  If you are interested in being part of the Steering Committee, please come and throw your name in the hat.  It’s a great way to get involved with issues and events that shape our community.

Hope to see you there!
