Patterson Community Garden Update, Spring 2018

Originally published in the May 2018 issue of The Flea

Patterson Park Community Garden is all about food security and wholesome community values. Food grown right in our neighborhood is about as local and fresh as it can get. Recent events include a citywide potluck, a memorial celebration and the construction of a garden plot devoted to sharing knowledge and food to the community at large. The garden celebrated Earth Day with a wildflower walk spotlighting the native wildflowers being nurtured along with the edible gardens.
